Role Overview:

BrandsRevenue is seeking to appoint four distinguished professionals to its Advisory Board of Directors in the Robotic Engineering department. The board members will play a crucial role in guiding and shaping the company’s robotic engineering strategies and initiatives. This is a strategic position that requires deep expertise in robotics, manufacturing, and business acumen. The selected individuals will be instrumental in driving innovation, ensuring competitive advantage, and supporting the company’s growth in the global market.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Leadership in Robotics Ecosystem Development:

  • Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction in building and expanding BrandsRevenues robotics ecosystem on a global scale.
  • Identify and integrate emerging technologies to position the company as a leader in robotic engineering.
  • Foster global partnerships and collaborations with leading robotics firms, research institutions, and industry bodies.

2. R&D Team Management and Implementation:

  • Lead R&D teams in the development and implementation of robotics solutions specifically tailored for the Indian market.
  • Oversee the creation and refinement of processes that enhance the deployment of robotics technologies within the company’s operations.
  • Ensure alignment of R&D initiatives with the company's strategic goals and market demands.

3. Hands-on Experience with Robotic Products:

  • Lead efforts to customise, enhance, and automate existing robotic products to meet the unique needs of the manufacturing industry.
  • Drive the integration of advanced robotics into manufacturing processes, focusing on optimization and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure that robotic solutions are adaptable, scalable, and aligned with industry requirements.

4. Technical Challenge Resolution:

  • Provide expert guidance in resolving complex technical challenges in robotics, including hardware, software, and integration issues.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions to technical problems, ensuring high standards of reliability and performance.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the robustness and efficiency of robotic systems.

5. Manufacturing Process Expertise:

  • Lead the automation of assembly lines and logistics processes using robotics, ensuring high efficiency and precision.
  • Provide strategic insights into the integration of robotics into manufacturing and warehouse operations.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and supply chain teams to identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions that improve overall operational efficiency.

6. Business Acumen and Procurement:

  • Provide strategic advice on the procurement of robotics technologies, ensuring alignment with both technical requirements and business goals.
  • Assess the ROI of robotics investments, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value creation.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring the reliability of the supply chain.

7. Productivity Gap Analysis:

  • Utilize root cause analysis to identify and address productivity gaps within manufacturing and operational processes.
  • Lead initiatives to close productivity gaps through the application of robotics and automation technologies.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by providing expertise in eliminating inefficiencies and enhancing system performance.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10-30 years in the robotics industry, with a focus on R&D, manufacturing, and technology integration.
  • Technical Expertise: Proven track record in leading and executing robotics projects, with deep knowledge of hardware, software, and integration challenges.
  • Global Market Insight: Experience in building and scaling robotics ecosystems globally.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business strategy, procurement, and ROI analysis in a technical context.
  • Problem Solving: Proficiency in root cause analysis and process optimization.
