Chief Financial Officer

Position Overview:

The CFO will be a key member of the executive team and will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company's operations. The CFO will provide strategic financial leadership, drive financial planning and analysis, and ensure effective financial management to support the company's growth objectives. This role requires strong leadership skills, financial acumen, and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and policies to support the company's long-term objectives.

2. Lead financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.

3. Manage financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.

4. Oversee treasury and cash management functions, including cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and capital allocation decisions.

5. Drive financial modeling and scenario analysis to evaluate investment opportunities, strategic initiatives, and business performance.

6. Collaborate with other functional leaders to drive operational efficiency, optimize resource allocation, and maximize profitability.

7. Monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

8. Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development.

9. Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, lenders, auditors, and regulatory authorities.

10. Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and best practices in finance and accounting.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or CPA preferred.

2. 15+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 7  years in a senior leadership position.

3. Proven track record of strategic financial leadership, driving results in a high-growth environment.

4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

6. Sound understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

7. Experience in fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, and investor relations is a plus.

8. Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office suite.
