Senior Manager-Business Development (Manufacturing - Automotive)

Job Summary:

The Senior Manager- Business Development will be responsible for leading the business development efforts for BrandsRevenue clients within the automotive manufacturing sector. with a focus on automotive components and assembly line solutions. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in business development. sales. and relationship management within the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving revenue growth. establishing strategic partnerships. and expanding market presence in automotive component manufacturing and assembly line solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion within the automotive manufacturing sector. specifically targeting automotive components and assembly line solutions.

2. Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify key trends. customer needs. and competitive dynamics within the automotive industry. Utilize market insights to develop targeted business development strategies and initiatives.

3. Lead Generation and Prospecting: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive lead generation. prospecting. and networking within the automotive manufacturing sector. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients and partnerships.

4. Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers within automotive OEMs. tier-1 suppliers. and assembly line integrators. Leverage industry relationships to drive business opportunities and strategic partnerships.

5. Proposal Development and Negotiation: Lead the development of compelling proposals. presentations. and pitches to secure new business opportunities. Negotiate terms. contracts. and agreements in collaboration with internal stakeholders and legal teams.

6. Sales Support: Provide support to the sales team by identifying and nurturing key accounts. assisting with customer presentations. and participating in client meetings as needed. Help drive the conversion of leads into sales opportunities.

7. Product and Solution Alignment: Collaborate with the product development and engineering teams to ensure alignment between customer needs and Client's product offerings. Provide insights and feedback to inform product development roadmaps and go.to.market strategies.

8. Market Expansion: Identify opportunities for market expansion and diversification within the automotive manufacturing sector. Develop strategies to penetrate new markets. segments. and geographic regions while maximizing revenue potential.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Engineering. or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10 -15 Yrs years of experience in business development or sales roles within the automotive manufacturing sector. with a focus on automotive components and assembly line solutions.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving business development targets in a B2B environment.
  • Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes. technologies. and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication. negotiation. and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify market opportunities. develop actionable strategies. and drive execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Proficiency in CRM software. Microsoft Office Suite. and other business development tools.
